Even if we are in an ongoing numerical world, paper industries continue to develop adapting to new challenges. During decades, Labbe has designed and manufactured equipment adapting to the different activities in paper industry:
- Manufacturing process of paper pulp
- Transformation of paper pulp to become paper.
Weplex heat exchangers have been designed and developed by Labbe Process Equipment to take into account the different constraints of paper industry and in order to optimize production.
Why install a heat exchanger in a Paper Mill?
In this context Weplex® heat exchangers are particularly adapted to the heating or cooling down of liquids, which is very useful to achieve the correct temperature in the washing waters.
Weplex heat exchagers have been designed and developed by Labbe Process Equipment to take into account the different constraints of Paper Industry including the new regulations and standards. As water cannot be rejected into nature at more than 30°, it becomes necessary to cool it down and the best way is using a Weplex heat exchanger.
The performances of Weplex are higher than those of classical tubular heat exchangers (30 to 40% better). Moreover, since they are very compact, the Weplex® heat exchangers are very easy to install and clean.
